Finding Life in the Moment

Welcome to my little notebook, full of sound and fury, ultimately signaling nothing. My life, in short form.

I will be writing about whatever thoughts come to mind and my own personal reflection, and I invite you to read, read, and read all about it. If you like it, please share the site with a friend. Word of mouth is powerful even nowadays, as it is sharing experiences with trusted individuals.

Take from this site as you will. If you like a picture, just remember to shoot a link back here. If you want to quote me, a link to the site would be incredible. A message deserves to be shared if you like it, and I wouldn’t post anything I dislike. All of it is my own honest writing.

Commitment to Truthfulness

The Liberal Lens will strive to be utterly truthful in its stories, descriptions, and thoughts.

Strive /strīv/ verb | make great efforts to achieve or obtain something.

I will not claim that I am faultless. I have my own issues and biases. However, in an age of misinformation (mistake) and disinformation (on purpose), there is a desire to avoid the superfluous yammering that comes from sensationalism and yellow journalism. Where there is a lack of truth in journalism, there will be an abundance in the Liberal Lens.

The Liberal Lens will do its best to be truthful, and I hope that if I happen to make a mistake, that you give me the opportunity to cure the issue.

Embracing Mistakes

I will not delete my mistakes.

I will retract those mistakes, and I will correct my mistakes for the whole public to see.

It’s not wrong to be wrong.

It’s wrong to pretend you’re not wrong.

Will F. Kay

I’m a writer at heart, and I will wax poetically if given the chance — but also, I enjoy photography.

The pursuit of a good photo is equivalent to the pursuit of a good story. Elusive, defiant, and yet so, so satisfying.

The Liberal Lens

I created the Liberal Lens as an excuse to take more photos and to share my writing. Any credits should be to the Liberal Lens as Will F. Kay is a lazy pseudonym, a fictional person to fit my needs.

Every online presence is not reality. It is a narrative crafted by someone who happened to get picked up by an algorithm. I don’t want whatever this becomes to be easily attributed to my story, but I invite it to be linked after some thought.
